Estádio Municipal da Marinha Grande

Estádio Municipal da Marinha Grande is a football stadium in Marinha Grande, Portugal. It hosts football matches for Atlético Clube Marinhense and hosted the home matches of U.D. Leiria in 2002-03 when Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa was being renovated. The stadium is able to hold 6,000 people and opened in 1992. In 2011-12, U.D. Leiria relocated again to Marinha Grande for 3 years, claiming excessive rent at Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, after it was relegated, the deal was abandoned and U.D.

Camadas de Guimarota

The Camadas de Guimarota, simply Guimarota, or Camadas de Alcobaça is a disused coal mine near the city of Leiria in central Portugal. An important geological formation dating back to the Kimmeridgian age of the Late Jurassic period, it contains a diverse array of fossil animals and plants, including dinosaurs and mammals. The locality was extensively worked by paleontologists from the Free University of Berlin, but this activity stopped in 1982.

Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa

The Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa (English: Dr. Magalhães Pessoa Stadium) is a football stadium in Leiria, Portugal, built as a venue for the UEFA Euro 2004 finals held in Portugal. It is the home for Leiria's main football club, União de Leiria. It was designed by Tomás Taveira in 2003. The stadium contains different coloured seats as well as an athletics track and has a capacity of 30,000. The stadium has also hosted the Portuguese SuperCup in 2006.
