Louriçal

Louriçal is a Portuguese parish of Pombal municipality, in the past it was parish of Roman Catholic Diocese of Coimbra. Now, the town have 48.04 km² of area and 5 095 inhabitants (2001). Density: 106.1 inhabitants/km². It was the municipality seat town until 1855. It comprises the parishes of the town and Mata Mourisca. It had 212 km² and 5 526 people in 1801 and 5 654 people in 1849.

Monte Real

Monte Real is a town (vila in Portuguese) and a parish in the municipality and District of Leiria. It covers an area of 12.23 km² and has a population of 2,778 people. Monte Real, which in English means Royal Mount, was once a municipality, before being anexed to Leiria municipality. Monte Real hosts an air base (base aérea), Monte Real Air Base for the Portuguese Air Force. Monte Real is also known for it's hot springs, (Termas de Monte Real).

Monte Real Air Base

Monte Real Air Base, officially designated as Air Force Base No. 5 (Portuguese: Base Aérea Nº 5, BA5), Monte Real, Leiria, Portugal, was initially opened on October 4, 1959. The mission of this Air Base is to guarantee the readiness and deployment of the air force units attributed to it, and several operational Squadrons have already been based there, equipped with F-86 Sabre, Fiat G.91, T-33 Shooting Star, T-38 Talon and A-7 Corsair II aircraft.

Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa

The Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa (English: Dr. Magalhães Pessoa Stadium) is a football stadium in Leiria, Portugal, built as a venue for the UEFA Euro 2004 finals held in Portugal. It is the home for Leiria's main football club, União de Leiria. It was designed by Tomás Taveira in 2003. The stadium contains different coloured seats as well as an athletics track and has a capacity of 30,000. The stadium has also hosted the Portuguese SuperCup in 2006.
