Severomuysky Range

The Severomuysky Range (Russian: Се́веро-Му́йский хребе́т, Severo-Muyskiy khrebet, literally Northern Muya Range) is a mountain range in Buryatia, Russia. It separates the basins of the Upper Angara and Muya Rivers. The Baikal Amur Mainline (BAM) railway traverses the southern end of the mountain range via the Severomuysky Tunnel.

Severomuysky Tunnel

Severomuysky Tunnel is a railroad tunnel on the Baikal Amur Mainline (BAM), in northwestern Buryatia, Russia. It is named after the Severomuysky Range it cuts through. The tunnel is 15,343 metres long, the longest in Russia.
