Severomorsk-2 (also Safonovo-1, Murmansk Northeast) is a naval air base in Murmansk Oblast, Russia located 7 km southwest of Severomorsk and just 11 km northeast of Murmansk. Safonovo-1 is an garrison in Murmansk Oblast, Russia, located on the Kola Peninsula on the Kola Bay, 4 km south-west of Severomorsk. Population: about 3000 (2009 est.). It was founded as a work settlement around 1940.

Severomorsk-1 (also referred to as Safonovo or simply Severomorsk) is a naval air base in Murmansk Oblast, Russia located 4 km south of Severomorsk. It one of the largest airfields on the Kola Peninsula, second only to Olenya. It can accommodate over 40 bombers and a small number of fighters.
