St. Nicholas Orphanage
St. Nicholas Orphanage is the only Catholic orphanage in Siberia and the only non-state orphanage in this region of Russia. It was founded in Novosibirsk in 1996 by "Caritas" charity with the financial support of several international institutions. Today St. Nicholas accommodates 40 children (boys and girls) ages 3-17. It employs 37 people, including six religious sisters of the Roman Catholic congregation of the Sisters of Saint Elizabeth.

Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Novosibirsk
St. Alexander Nevsky's Cathedral is the Orthodox Cathedral in Novosibirsk, Russia. It is one of the first stone constructions in Novonikolayevsk (former name of Novosibirsk). The church was built in Neo-Byzantine architectural style in 1896–1899. The building design was influenced by the design of Church of Our Lady the Merciful in St. Petersburg built a few years earlier. It was opened and consecrated on December 29, 1899. In 1915 it became a cathedral.

Globus (in Russian Новосибирский академический театр Глобус - novosibirskiy akademicheskiy teatr globus, or briefly globus) is a theatre in Novosibirsk city, Siberia, Russia. It was foundded in 1930 in Novosibirsk city and was the first stationary theatre. Formerly it was known as Young Spectator's theatre (Театр юного зрителя, teatr yunogo zritelya - abbreviated ТЮЗ), and was focused on youth and children. The current building of the theatre was built in 1984.
