Borisoglebskoye airfield is an experimental aviation airfield owned by Kazan Aircraft Production Association. Located in the northeastern part of the city of Kazan, in the immediate vicinity of the borough Borisoglebskoe, it is designed for experimental design, experimental work, and testing aircraft products. 2008 Kazan gas explosion
The Kazan gas explosion occurred on January 9, 2008, destroying an entire corner of a three-story khrushchyovka-style apartment building on Malaya Pechyorskaya Street in the Aviastroitelny District of Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. The explosion took place at 0:28 a.m. local time. The blast destroyed 12 apartments and killed ten residents, including one woman who died of blast-related trauma in a hospital after being rescued from the rubble. Additionally, two were non-fatally wounded.

Kozya Sloboda (Kazan Metro)
Kozya Sloboda is a station on the Kazan Metro that opened December 30, 2010. It is the first station on the right bank of the Kazanka River. Construction on the station started in February 2006. The station was set to be called Kozya Sloboda or Käcä Bistäse, but in the wake of protests led in part by students of Kazan State Energy University the city government settled on the purely descriptive name Aq Bars.

The Millennium Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that spans Kazanka River, in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. Its name originates from Kazan's thousand anniversary, widely celebrated in 2005 and the shape of its M-like pylon. The construction of the bridge began in 2004, the first part was ready in 2005 and the second part in 2007. The building cost was approximately 94 million euros. The bridge is 831 m long. The main part of this bridge is the 45-m pylon which looks like the letter M.
