Buraidah

Buraydah is the capital of Al-Qassim Province in northcentral Saudi Arabia in the heart of the Arabian peninsula. Buraydah lies equidistant from the Red Sea to the west and the Persian Gulf to the east. It has a population of 614,093 (2010 census). Buraydah, the regional capital of Al-Qassim Province, is located on the edge of the Wadi Al-Rummah. Buraydah has a typical desert climate, with hot summers, cold winters and low humidity.

King Abdullah Sport City Stadium

King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, previously known as the Prince Abdul bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, is a football stadium in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. It is used mainly for football and hosts the home matches of Al Taawon and Al-Raed of the Saudi Professional League. The stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000 spectators.

Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport

Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport, formerly Qassim Regional Airport and widely known in the air-travel industry as "Gassim" (from Al-Qassim Province in which it lies), is an airport in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. It was renamed to Prince Nayef Bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport after a decree given by King Abdullah on 5 July 2012, for the memory of former Crown Prince Nayef. The airport was established in 1964. It is owned and operated by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
