The castle and its stables were destroyed by the Yugoslav Partisans during World War II. The castle chapel was later restored and now serves as a venue for plays, concerts, and other cultural events, as well as weddings.

Geometric Centre of the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: Geometrično središče Republike Slovenije) (GEOSS) is the geometric centre of the country. Its geographic coordinates are {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:46|07|11.8|N|14|48|55.2|E|type:landmark_region:SL |primary |name= }}. It lies in Spodnja Slivna near Vače in the municipality of Litija. Since 4 July 1982, it is marked with a memorial stone, designed by the architect Marjan Božič.

Medija Thermal Spa
The Medija Thermal Spa is a spa located in the town of Izlake in central Slovenia. It was established in 1877 by the local businessman Alojz Prašnikar, although thermal baths at the location were already mentioned by Johann Weikhard von Valvasor in his The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola in the 17th century. Today's spa consists of a hotel, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool complex. As of August 2010, the hotel and all facilities are closed.
