Paul Sauer Bridge

The Paul Sauer Bridge is a concrete arch bridge over the Storms River in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. It carries road traffic for the N2 national highway. The Paul Sauer or Storms River Bridge in South Africa, built in 1955, was designed by Italian engineer Ricardo Morandi. The arch, which spans 328 feet, was constructed in a unique fashion.

Langkloof

The Langkloof is a 160 km long valley in South Africa, lying between Herold, a small village north of George, and Humansdorp. The kloof was given its name by Isaq Schrijver in 1689, and more thoroughly explored by a later expedition under ensign August Frederik Beutler in 1752. The valley has been farmed since 1760 and is an important fruit-growing region, specifically of apples.
