Yeongwol County
Yeongwol County (Yeongwol-gun) is a county in Gangwon Province, South Korea. It is well known as the place where King Danjong, the sixth king of Joseon Dynasty, was exiled to, when he was forced to abdicate by his uncle, who became Sejo of Joseon. It is also where he is buried after he was murdered in 1457, following the attempts by Six martyred ministers to restore him to power, when he was perceived to be a continuing threat to the rule of his uncle.

Jungbong
Jungbong (중봉 알파인 경기장) is an alpine skiing area in South Korea. It is located in the township of Bukpyeong-myeon in the county of Jeongseon. The Jungbong Alpine Skiing Area will be the venue for the downhill, Super G and combined skiing of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. It will accommodate 18,000 spectators. The men's downhill would start at an altitude of 1,433 m and have a length of about 3.5 km.
