Bokwang Phoenix Park

Bokwang Phoenix Park (보광 휘닉스 파크) is a ski resort in South Korea. It is located in the township of Bongpyeong-myeon, in the county of Pyeongchang. Jungbong

Jungbong (중봉 알파인 경기장) is an alpine skiing area in South Korea. It is located in the township of Bukpyeong-myeon in the county of Jeongseon. The Jungbong Alpine Skiing Area will be the venue for the downhill, Super G and combined skiing of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. It will accommodate 18,000 spectators. The men's downhill would start at an altitude of 1,433 m and have a length of about 3.5 km.

Gangwon Province (South Korea)

Gangwon-do is a province of South Korea, with its capital at Chuncheon. Before the division of Korea in 1945, Gangwon and its North Korean neighbour Kangwŏn formed a single province. In 2010, actor So Ji-sub was appointed a goodwill ambassador for tourism for Gangwon Province.

Pyeongchang County

Pyeongchang (Pyeongchang-gun) is a county in Gangwon province, South Korea located in the Taebaek Mountains region. It is also home to several Buddhist temples, including Woljeongsa.
