Hwaseong Fortress

Hwaseong (Brilliant Castle/ Fortress), the wall surrounding the centre of Suwon, the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, was built in the late 18th century by King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty to honour and house the remains of his father Prince Sado, who had been murdered by being locked alive inside a rice chest by his own father King Yeongjo after failing to obey the command to commit suicide.

The Suwon World Cup Stadium(수원월드컵경기장), which seats 43,959, in the Korean city of Suwon, has been home to K League Classic football side Suwon Samsung Bluewings since 2001.

Suwon Sports Complex

Suwon Sports Complex is a multi-purpose stadium in Suwon, South Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches, though it also has a baseball stadium, gymnasium, and temporary outdoor facilities which change on a seasonal basis. The main stadium, built in 1971, has a capacity of 27,100 and was home of South Korean premier football club Suwon Samsung Bluewings until 2002 when the new stadium was built.

Suwon

Suwon is the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. A major city of over a million inhabitants, Suwon lies approximately 30 kilometres south of Seoul. It is traditionally known as "The City of Filial Piety". Suwon has existed in various forms throughout Korea's history, growing from a small settlement in tribal times to a major industrial and cultural city today. Suwon is the only remaining completely walled city in South Korea.

Suwon Gymnasium

Suwon Gymnasium is an indoor sporting arena located in Suwon, South Korea. The capacity of the arena is 5,145 people and was built in 1963 to host handball events at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Today it forms part of Suwon Sports Complex.
