Uiwang

Uiwang is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is one of many satellite cities that ring Seoul, making up the Seoul National Capital Area. Its largest immediate urban neighbor is Anyang (South Korea). The low peaks of the Gwangju Mountains shape the local landscape. Rail transportation is an important part of Uiwang, which is home to the Korean Railroad Museum and Korea National Railroad College. Seoul Subway Line 1 passes through the city, as does the Gyeongbu Line railroad.

Gunpo

Gunpo is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is part of the Seoul National Capital Area. Its largest immediate urban neighbor is Suwon. Hansei University is located in the city. Seoul Subway Line 1, which connects Seoul with Cheonan, passes through the town, as does Line 4, which intersects with Line 1 at Geumjeong Station. In addition, the city is home to Gunpo Station and Dangjeong Station, which stands on the Gyeongbu Line which runs between Seoul and Busan.

Geumjeong Station

Geumjeong Station is a ground-level metro station on lines 1 and 4 of the Seoul Subway network in South Korea. The station is in Gunpo, a city approximately 15 km south of Seoul in Gyeonggi Province, between the cities of Anyang and Suwon. Geumjeong is an important transfer point for passengers travelling to and from southern and western Gyeonggi Province to Seoul Grand Park and Seoul Racecourse Park.

Beomgye Station

Beomgye Station is a station on Line 4 of the Seoul Subway network. It is in a newer area of Anyang, Gyeonggi-do and, heading away from Seoul, it is the last underground station on this line. It opens at 4:30 A.M. It is connected to a Lotte Department Store. The name of the station literally means "tiger creek."

Anyang, Gyeonggi

Anyang is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. With a population number of approximately 630,000, it is the 15th largest city in South Korea. It is a satellite city of Seoul and located approximately 21 km south of Seoul, and 19 km north of Suwon. It is connected to Seoul via the Seoul Subway Line 1 and Line 4. The City motto of Anyang is "Livable city, Proud citizens". City symbols are 'Podong-i' a grape mascot, Forsythia (flower), Ginkgo (tree), and Eagle.
