Interesting facts about this location

Silmido

Silmido is an uninhabited island in the Yellow Sea, off the west coast of South Korea. It has an area of about 0.25 km². It lies within the borders of Incheon metropolitan city, and is about 5 kilometres southwest of Incheon International Airport. Silmido lies just offshore of the larger, inhabited island of Muuido, which is connected to the mainland by ferry.

Incheon International Airport Station

Incheon International Airport Station is a railway station on AREX. It is in Incheon International Airport and currently the terminus. In September 2013 it will become a transfer station with the Incheon Airport Maglev. AREX has 10 stations and it also divided into two lines, one is normal and the other is express. For the normal line, the train will stop in every single station. In others, the express line will only stop in Incheon International Airport Station and Seoul Station.

Muuido

Muuido, also known as Muui Island, is an island in South Korea. It is a small island located south of Yongyu Island, which was joined with Yeongjong Island when Incheon International Airport was built. Muui Island is visible from the airport. It is served by a daily ferry from Incheon ferry terminal on the mainland, as well as by a frequent car ferry which crosses the narrow channel separating the island from Yongyu Island. Muui island, measuring 5.2 kilometres long and 4.5 kilometres wide.
