Gosu Cave

The Gosu Cave (고수동굴 - Kosu is also still found as an alternate spelling) is a huge limestone cave near Danyang, South Korea formed over 450 million years ago. It is among the best known natural caves in Korea, called the "underground palace" because of its breathtaking natural beauty. Gosu Cave is listed as the country's "Natural Monument No. 256". "Gosu" means "field of tall reeds," and comes from the fact that the area used to be filled with fields of tall grasses.

Cheongpung Cultural Properties

Cheongpung Cultural Properties Complex is a reconstruction of Cheongpung, a village that became submerged after the construction of Chungju Dam located on a ridge above Chungju Lake, south of Jecheon - North Chungcheong province South Korea. The SBS Jecheon setting is also co-located on the complex site.

Guinsa

Guinsa, (Temple of Salvation and Kindness) in the Yeonhwa area of the Sobaek Mountains located near Danyang in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, is the headquarters of the Cheontae school of Korean Buddhism. Guinsa is the administrative center of over 140 sub-temples and hermitages of the Cheontae sect.
