Palsangjeon

Palsangjeon (Hall of Eight Pictures) is a worship hall found on a Korean Buddhist temple complex that contains the "Palsang", the series of painted murals depicting the eight stages in the life of the historic Buddha, Sakyamuni. Songnisan

Songnisan is a mountain and National Park in South Korea. It lies in the Sobaek mountains along the border between Gyeongsangbuk-do and Chungcheongbuk-do. Its main attractions are the temple Beopjusa and an especially picturesque peak, Munjangdae (1,029 m). The mountain's highest peak is Cheonhwangbong, at 1,058.4 m . Literally ‘Mountain Removed from Worldliness,’ Songnisan is where the 7th-century Buddhist Beopjusa temple is still located.

Songnisan National Park

Songnisan National Park (Korean: 속리산국립공원, 俗離山國立公園, sometimes spelled "Sokrisan") is located in the center of the Sobaek Mountains range, on the border between the provinces of Chungcheongbuk-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. The area comprises the valleys of Hwayang, Seonyu, and Ssanggok and the 1,058-metre mountain Songnisan, which has given the park its name. It was designated as the country's 6th national park in 1970.
