The Gosu Cave (고수동굴 - Kosu is also still found as an alternate spelling) is a huge limestone cave near Danyang, South Korea formed over 450 million years ago. It is among the best known natural caves in Korea, called the "underground palace" because of its breathtaking natural beauty. Gosu Cave is listed as the country's "Natural Monument No. 256". "Gosu" means "field of tall reeds," and comes from the fact that the area used to be filled with fields of tall grasses.

Sosu Seowon
Sosu Seowon is the oldest seowon, private Neo-Confucian academy in Korea which was established during the Joseon Dynasty period. It was found at the entrance of Suksusa Temple, in Yeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do South Korea. Sosu Seowon was founded by Ju Sebung, who was serving as magistrate of Pungseong county. Sosu Seowon was the only seowon that survived from the Seowon Abolishment by Heungseon Daewongun Regent in 1871.
