North Gyeongsang Province

North Gyeongsang Province, also known as Gyeongbuk, is a province in eastern South Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the northern half of the former Gyeongsang province, remained a province of Korea until the country's division in 1945, then became part of South Korea. The Gyeongsangbuk-do Office is located in Daegu, but Daegu has not been a part of the province since 1981. Daegu was the capital of Gyeongsang-do before 1896 and Gyeongsangbuk between 1896 and 1981.

Palgongsan

Palgongsan, also Palgong Mountain, is a mountain in southeastern South Korea, lying on an outlier of the Taebaek range. It stands on the border between Daegu metropolitan city and North Gyeongsang province. Its peak is 1193 m above sea level. The mountain is the site of a number of cultural and natural heritage sites. These include Buddhist shrines from the Silla period or later, including the large and active temple of Donghwasa and the Gunwi Triad Budda Grotto (National Treasure 109).

Yeongcheon

Yeongcheon is a city in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Yeongcheon is located 350 km southeast of Seoul, in the southeast of North Gyeongsang Province. It is on the Gyeongbu Expressway linking Seoul and Busan, and is also the junction of the Jungang and Daegu railway lines.

Uiseong County

Uiseong County (Uiseong-gun) is a county in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, South Korea. Located near the center of the province, it is bounded by Andong on the north, Cheongsong on the east, Gunwi County on the south, and Sangju and Yecheon on the west. As in most parts of Korea, most of the land is vacant and forested; only about 19% of the county's area is farmland. The county is largely rural, with an economy dominated by agriculture; the only urbanized area is the county seat, Uijeong-eup.

Songgwangmae Memorial Museum

Songgwangmae Memorial Museum (aka Songgwang Maewon, Korean: 송광매기념관) is a museum located in Dong district, Daegu, South Korea. The museum's collection is mainly artifacts connected with traditional arts and industry in Korea. The founders of museum were Kwon Byeongtak and Song Suhee. The establishment of the museum was approved in March 2002.
