Sogang University

Sogang University is one of the leading research and liberal arts universities in Seoul, South Korea. The university was established in 1960 by the Society of Jesus to provide education based on the Catholic beliefs and inspired by the Jesuit education philosophy, such as Georgetown University in the U.S. , Sophia University in Japan, and Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.

Sinchon Station

Sinchon Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 in Mapo-gu, north of the Han River. It is located between Hongik University Station and Ewha Womans University Station. It is the closest station to Sogang University, Yonsei University and Hyundai Department Store Sinchon.

Ewha Woman's University Station

Ewha Womans University Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2. As its name indicates, it serves the nearby Ewha Womans University, although Sinchon Station on the Gyeongui Line is closer to the school.

Aeogae Station

Aeogae is a subway station in Mapo-gu, which is located in Seoul, South Korea. It is served by Seoul Subway Line 5. "Aeogae" is one of a very few station names in the Seoul subway system which is not ultimately derived from Chinese. The name is derived from a native Korean designation meaning "small ridge. " This is the literal translation of the neighborhood called Ahyeon-dong, in which this station is located.

Ewha Womans University

Ewha Womans University is a private women's university in central Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the city's largest institutions of higher learning and currently the world's largest female educational institute. It is one of the best-known universities in South Korea, also considered to be one of the top universities in Korea. Ewha was founded in 1886 by the American Methodist Episcopal missionary Mary F. Scranton. "Ewha" is a Sino-Korean term for "pear blossom".
