Cheongyang County

Cheongyang County (Cheongyang-gun) is a county in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. A predominantly rural area, it is known throughout Korea for the spicy gochu peppers which are grown there. Another noted local specialty is the fruit of the Chinese matrimony vine, or gugija. The county is home to Cheongyang Provincial College.

South Chungcheong Province

South Chungcheong Province, or Chungcheongnam-do (abbreviated Chungnam), is a province in the west of South Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the south-western half of the former Chungcheong Province and remained a province of Korea until the country's division in 1945, thereafter becoming part of South Korea. In 2012, the provincial capital moved from Daejeon to Hongseong.

Boryeong

Boryeong, commonly known as Daecheon, is a city in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|20|N|126|37|E|region:KR_type:city(110,380)|| | |name= }}, on the coast of the Yellow Sea. It lies on the Janghang Line railroad, which connects it to Seoul via the Gyeongbu Line. It is also connected to the Seohaean Expressway.
