Asan

Asan is a city in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|47|N|126|59|E|region:KR_type:city(103,122)|| | |name= }}, bordering the Seoul Metropolitan Area to the north. Asan has a population of approximately 250,000. Asan is known for its hot springs and is a city of spas. Asan has grown into the neighboring village, Onyang-dong, which is also known for its hot springs. Asan should not be confused with Ansan, in Gyeonggi Province.

Cheonan-Asan Station

Cheonan-Asan Station (Onyangoncheon) is a ground-level train station located mostly in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, although part of it lies in the neighboring city of Cheonan. This station serves high-speed KTX trains that run from Seoul to either Busan or Mokpo. It is connected to (and it is possible to transfer to trains which stop at) Asan Station, a railway station on the Janghang Line which is also served by Line 1 of the Seoul Subway.

Yesan County

Yesan County (Yesan-gun) is a county in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. Famous people from Yesan include independence fighter Yoon Bong-Gil. Sudeoksa, a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, is located on the southern slopes of Deoksungsan in Deoksan-myeon, Yesan County. Its main hall is daeungjeon (大雄殿), Korea's oldest wooden building and National Treasure 49.

Cheonan Stadium

Cheonan Baekseok Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Cheonan, South Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 32,000 people. The stadium was built in 2001.
