Gyeryongsan

Gyeryongsan, a 845 m mountain in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. It lies at the meeting of the boundaries of several cities: Gongju, Gyeryong, Nonsan, and Daejeon. It has been traditionally regarded as a sacred mountain, with the most qi of any in South Korea. The name "gyermongsan means chicken dragon mountain Portions of the mountain are included in a South Korean military reserve. Other portions are part of Gyeryongsan National Park.

Magoksa

Magoksa is a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism in Gongju, South Korea. It is located on the eastern slope of Taehwasan, on taegeuk-shaped bend in the Taegeukcheon Stream. Magoksa is believed to have been established in 640 or 642 by the monk Jajang of Silla, however, this account is in dispute by some since Gongju would have lain within Baekje territory at that time.

Sejong City

Sejong, officially Sejong Special Self-Governing City and formerly known as Yeongi (연기, 燕岐) county is a planned city in South Korea. In early 2007, the South Korean government decided to create a special administrative district housing nine ministries and four national agencies currently located in Seoul out of parts of Chungcheongnam-do and a small section of Chungcheongbuk-do provinces, near Daejeon. The capital opened on 2 July 2012, with 36 government agencies slated to move there by 2015.

Yeongi County

Yeongi County (Yeongi-gun) was a county in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea now part of Sejong. Jochiwon is the main city within Yeongi. Jochiwon, as of 2011, has a large foreign community of native English speakers considering its rather small size and population. This is due to the existence of two major universities: Hong-ik University and Korea University Korea University Sejong Campus, both satellite campuses. In addition to the universities there are many public schools.
