Battle of Noryang

The Battle of Noryang, the last major battle of the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–1598), was fought between the Japanese navy and the combined fleets of the Joseon Kingdom and the Ming Dynasty. It took place in the early morning of 16 December (19 November in the Lunar calendar) 1598 and ended past dawn.

Gyeongnam International Foreign School

Gyeongnam International Foreign School (GIFS) is a privately funded international school located in Sacheon, South Korea. It was founded in 2004 and has 90 students enrolled. The school includes students from Pre-kindergarten to grade 12. The language of instruction is English. GIFS is a part of the same family of schools as Busan Foreign School. Namhae Bridge

The Namhae Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects Hadong Noryang and Namhae Noryang, South Korea. The bridge, completed in 1973 has a total length of 660 meters. The bridge has a real-time monitoring system installed to monitor its performance.

Sacheon

Sacheon is a city in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Sacheon's chief fame comes from its being the site of two naval battles in the Seven Year War. The city as it now exists results from the merging of Sacheon-gun and Samcheonpo-si in 1995. The northern part of the city is called Sacheon-eub and is located at the top of Sacheon Bay, near the city of Jinju. The southern part of the city is located in the old Samcheonpo-si, which is located at the mouth of Sacheon Bay.
