Ortigueira's Festival of Celtic World

Ortigueira, a seaport and borough in County Ferrolterra in Galicia, celebrates its patron saint day -Saint Martha of Ortigueira's Day- on 29th July. Held during Saint Martha's day, Ortigueira's Festival of Celtic World (Festival Internacional do Mundo Celta de Ortigueira) is the highlight of the borough's summertime festival calendar. The festival lasts for four days, Thursday to Sunday, and is free.

Monastery of Xuvia

The Monastery of Xuvia, also known as San Martiño de Xuvia or San Martín de Jubia, is located in the Parish of the same name in the city of Narón. The current building was built at the beginning of 12th century, in Romanesque style. The first document from the Diplomatic Collection of this Monastery, is dated 15 May in the year 977, and it describes a donation made by a Galician noblewoman called Visclavara Vistrariz to the monastery.

Bay of Biscay

The Bay of Biscay is a gulf of the northeast Atlantic Ocean located south of the Celtic Sea. It lies along the western coast of France from Brest south to the Spanish border, and the northern coast of Spain west to Cape Ortegal, and is named in English after the province of Biscay, in the Spanish Basque Country. The average depth is 1,744 metres and maximum depth is 5,049 metres .
