Kuppilan

Kuppuzhaan or Kuppilaan is a village in the Valikaamam South division of Jaffna district. The toponym nowadays is often written as Kuppizhaan. It is an agricultural village consisting mainly of vegetable farms, Tobacco, Palmyra gardens. The most of the people are Hindus.

Jaffna Airport (Tamil: யாழ்ப்பாணம் விமான நிலையம்) is a former international airport in Sri Lanka. SLAF Palaly is a Sri Lankan Air Force base located at the airport, near the city of Jaffna in Sri Lanka. The airfield was built by the RAF, as RAF Kankesanturai during World War II when B-24 Liberators of No. 222 Group RAF were located there.

Tellippalai

Tellippalai or Thellippalai is a small town in the northern Jaffna District of Sri Lanka. It was a mission location when the American Ceylon Mission (ACM) came to Sri Lanka in the 19th century. It was known as Tillipally in ACM documents. There are number of schools some which were founded by ACM and churches and JHindu Temples in the village. The First English School of Jaffna, which led to Union College, was founded in Dutch Hall in 1816 by the Rev. Daniel Poor, an American citizen.
