Largario
Largario is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1207 as Largario. The municipality had 56 inhabitants in 1602, which peaked at 74 and 75 in 1808 and 1850 respectively before dropping again to 53 in 1900. It decreased further to 36 in 1950, 17 in 1980 when it was the least populous municipality in the entire Switzerland, before it increased to 27 in 1990 which only made it the least populous in Ticino.

Ponto Valentino is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. In 2004 the municipality was merged with the other, neighboring municipalities Castro, Corzoneso, Dongio, Largario, Leontica, Lottigna, Marolta and Prugiasco to form a new and larger municipality Acquarossa.

Castro is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1200 as Castri. It had 68 inhabitants in 1567, which increased to 114 in 1808 and 129 in 1850. It then decreased to 97 in 1900, 81 in 1950 and 62 in 1970. In 2000 the population count was back on 81.

Lottigna is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1201 as Lotingnia. The municipality also contained the village Acquarossa. It had 105 inhabitants in 1682, and from 1850 to 1950 the population count remained stable around 130. It then dropped to 79 in both 1970 and 2000.

Marolta is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in year 1205 as Malouta. The municipality also contained a part of the village Traversa. It had 178 inhabitants in 1808, but this decreased to 136 in 1850, 86 in 1900, 75 in 1950 and 43 in 2000.
