Giumaglio

Giumaglio is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1224 as Zumano. The municipality had 300 inhabitants in 1591, which decreased to 125 in 1761. It then increased, to 188 in 1801 and 413 in 1850, before declining again to 232 in 1900, 204 in 1950 and 167 in 1970. It then rose somewhat, to 202 in 2000 and 210 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 13.17 km².

Coglio

Coglio is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1237 as Cono. The municipality had 100 inhabitants in 1591, which went up and down to 122 in 1719, 94 in 1801, 195 in 1850, 135 in 1900 and 73 in 1950. It then increased somwehat to 96 in 2000 and 99 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 9.55 km². In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia.

Lodano

Lodano is a village and former municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. It was first recorded in 1224 as Lodino. The municipality had 70 inhabitants in 1709, which increased to 85 in 1801, 140 in 1850 and 141 in 1900. It then declined to 134 in 1950 and 86 in 1970, before rising again, to 171 in 2000 and 191 in 2003. The municipality had an area of 13.76 km². In 2004 the municipality was incorporated into the larger, neighboring municipality Maggia.
