Ganter Bridge
Ganter Bridge is a reinforced concrete road bridge which is currently the longest spanning bridge in Switzerland, located along the Simplon Pass road in the canton of Valais about 10 km south of Brig. It was designed by renowned Swiss civil engineer Christian Menn and completed in 1980. The overall length is 678 m with a main span of 174 m, and a maximum tower height of 150 m .

Rosswald is a car-free village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Valais. It lies in the eastern part of the canton, in the Simplon region, at an altitude of 1,819 metres. The village sits on a sunny terrace overlooking the Rhone valley, above Ried-Brig. The village is accessible via a cable car from the latter town. Rosswald is a winter sports resort and includes a small ski area.

Diveria
The Diveria is an Alpine river which flows through Switzerland and Italy. It is a tributary of the Toce and therefore, via Lake Maggiore and the Ticino, of the Po. The valley crossed by the Diveria, the Val Divedro, is the only one in the Valais to form part of the Po basin rather than that of the Rhône.
