The Bieudron Hydroelectric Power Station is a hydroelectric power plant located in the Swiss Alps in the Canton of Valais in Switzerland. The power plant is fed with water from the Grande Dixence Dam's reservoir, Lac des Dix and is part of the Cleuson-Dixence Complex. The 1269 MW power plant is operated by Grande Dixence SA.

Ovronnaz

Ovronnaz is a village located in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It lies in the municipality of Leytron, close to Martigny. The village is located on the south side of the Bernese Alps, on a terrace above the Rhone river, at an altitude of 1,330 metres. The region is surrounded by the summits of Grand Chavalard, Petit and Grand Muveran and Haut de Cry. Ovronnaz is both a small ski resort and a spa resort.

Conthey (district)

The district of Conthey is an administrative district in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It has a population of 24,824 (as of 31 December 2011). The Conthey district was created as the 13th district of the Valais as the canton joined the restored Swiss Confederacy in 1815, accounting for the thirteen stars in the coat of arms of Valais.

Haute-Nendaz

The resort/commune of Haute-Nendaz is located in the Swiss canton of Valais, comprising the villages of Nendaz, Siviez, and Basse-Nendaz. Haute-Nendaz is situated on a plateau at an altitude between 1300m and 1500m. In winter it forms part of the Four Valleys and is one of the most extensive ski areas in Europe.
