Amuda
Amuda is a town in Al Hasakah Governorate in northeastern Syria. Amuda has a mostly Kurdish population with a significant Assyrian population. On November 13, 1960, the village was the site of a tragedy in which 152 children were killed in a fire at a movie theatre.
