Chiang Mai Railway Station

Chiang Mai Railway Station is the 1st class station and the main railway station in Chiang Mai Province. This station located in east bank of Ping River in the city of Chiang Mai. There are 14 daily trains, including 2 E&O trains servicing this station. There are also 4 to 6 special trains in New Year, Songkran and other special festivals. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand is a suffragan diocese of the archdiocese of Bangkok. The diocese covers an area of 89,483 km², covering all of the northern provinces Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Lamphun, Mae Hong Son, Nan, Phayao, and Phrae. As of 2001, of the 5.8 million citizen in the region, 36,518 are members of the Catholic Church.

Attaqwa Mosque

Attaqwa Mosque (Sometimes spells Attakkawa Mosque) or San Pa Koi Mosque, located on the east side of the Ping River in Chiang Mai, is one of the seven Chinese mosques in Chiang Mai province. It was first built in 1967, and finished in 1969 by a group of both Chinese and non-Chinese Muslims. The mosque also contains the first Islamic school in Chiang Mai.
