Khun Tan Tunnel

Khun Tan Tunnel is a long tunnel across the Khun Tan Range. It is the longest of Thailand's seven railway tunnels. The Khun Tan Tunnel is 1352.10 metres long, and situated between kilometre 681.57870 and 682.94080 on the Northern line from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, between Mae Tan Noi, Wiang Tan, and Khun Tan stations. The tunnel runs under the boundary between Lampang and Lamphun provinces.

Lampang

Lampang, also called Nakhon Lampang to differentiate from Lampang Province, is the third largest town in northern Thailand and capital of Lampang Province and the Lampang district. Traditional names for Lampang include Wiang Lakon and Khelang Nakhon. The city is still growing rapidly as trading and transportation center. It offer much of the historic interest of Lanna as well as Chiangmai, but without the overt commercialization.

Bunyawat Witthayalai is the first public and biggest secondary school in Lampang, Thailand. It has also long been regcognized among top high schools in the northern region and has often been placed in top ten of the national high school ranking over the recent decade.
