Bo Sang

Bo Sang is a village in San Kamphaeng district in the outskirts of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. It is known for its handmade umbrellas and parasols, which are brightly coloured, and often decorated with floral motifs. Festivals are held every year and numerous decorated craft shops and stores exist along the main street in the village in the Lanna Thai style. During the festival time there are contests, The Miss Bo Sang beauty pageant is also held.

Wiang Kum Kam

Wiang Kum Kam is the recently restored settlement along the Ping River, which was built by King Mangrai as his capital before he moved it to Chiang Mai. It was flooded and abandoned more than 700 years ago; that move became more understandable in 2005, when the ancient city was flooded three separate times as the river overflowed its banks in that area of Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai Railway Station

Chiang Mai Railway Station is the 1st class station and the main railway station in Chiang Mai Province. This station located in east bank of Ping River in the city of Chiang Mai. There are 14 daily trains, including 2 E&O trains servicing this station. There are also 4 to 6 special trains in New Year, Songkran and other special festivals. In the 2004 census, Chiang Mai Station served nearly 800,000 passengers.
