Sakae Krang River

The Sakae Krang River is a tributary of the Chao Phraya River. It originates in Mae Wong National Park, Kamphaeng Phet Province. It is 225 km long, with most of its length in Uthai Thani Province. It tributes the Chao Phraya River in Uthai Thani city around Wat Tha Sung (Tha Sung temple).

Uthai Thani

Uthai Thani is a town in Thailand, capital of the Uthai Thani province, in the Lower North of the country. It covers the whole tambon Uthai Mai of Mueang Uthai Thani district. The town is situated on the right bank of the Sakae Krang River, a few kilometers upstream from where it flows into the Chao Phraya. As of 2008 it has a population of 16,787. The Wat Chantaram temple is beautiful and quite different from most other Thai temples.
