Mount Izla
Mt. Izla (Syriac: ܛܘܪܐ ܕܐܝܙܠܐ Turo d'Izlo), also Mountain of Nisibis, or briefly in the 9th century, Mt. Kashyari, is a low mountain or ridge near Nisibis in what once was Sassanid Persia, but is now southeastern Turkey, along the border with Syria. Amuda is a town in Al Hasakah Governorate in northeastern Syria. Amuda has a mostly Kurdish population with a significant Assyrian population.
