Falmouth Town A.F.C

Falmouth Town A.F.C. is a football club based in Falmouth, Cornwall, United Kingdom. They were established in 1949 and were founding members of the South Western League in 1951. For the 2012–13 season, they are members of the South West Peninsula League and play in the Premier Division. The president of the club is Roger Fenner. Kernick (Cornish: Karnek, meaning rocky place) is a settlement in west Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is and area of the village of Penryn, a suburb of Falmouth. The name Kernick is a derivative of Cernic / Carnak meaning 'rocky' in Cornish, like Carnac in Brittany (Rev. Williams - Lexicon Cornu-Brittanicum, 1865). Kernick is located near Mabe, a small town on the edge of a new urban area.

Penryn Athletic F.C

Penryn Athletic F.C. are a football club based in Penryn, Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. They play in the South West Peninsula League Division One West, and stage their home games at the 1,500 capacity Kernick Road ground. Gyllyngvase

Gyllyngvase (Cornish: An Gilen Vas, meaning the shallow inlet) is one of the four beaches associated with Falmouth, Cornwall, United Kingdom, south of Pendennis Castle. It is to the south of Falmouth town centre, but was an essentially rural area as recently as the late 19th century. However, the growth of tourism in the town at around the turn of the 20th century saw the area become more built-up and the seafront on Cliff Road became home to several major hotels.

Maenporth

Maenporth (Cornish: Meyn Borth, meaning stones cove) is a cove and beach in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately two miles (3 km) south-southwest of Falmouth on the estuary of the River Fal. Maenporth cove faces east across Falmouth Bay with views towards Pendennis Castle and the lighthouse on St Anthony Head. The South West Coast Path runs through Maenporth. Behind the cove, wetland supports varied birdlife including the Grey Heron and the Little Egret.
