St Boniface's Church, Bunbury

St Boniface's Church, Bunbury, stands prominently in the village of Bunbury, Cheshire, England. It is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building. The church dates mainly from the 14th century. Its features include the Ridley chapel, the alabaster chest tomb of Sir Hugh Calveley and the tomb of Sir George Beeston. Richards considers it is architecturally one of the most important examples of its period in Cheshire.

Beeston, Cheshire

Beeston is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, which itself is located in the ceremonial county of Cheshire in the north of England. It is located approximately 10km south-east of Chester, and approximately 3.5km south-west of Tarporley, close to the Shropshire Union Canal. According to the 2011 census, Beeston had a population of 188.

Calveley

Calveley is a village (at SJ 591 589) and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies 5½ miles to the north west of Nantwich. The parish also includes parts of the settlements of Barrets Green and Wardle Bank. Nearby villages include Alpraham, Bunbury, Haughton and Wardle. Calveley Chapel stands in Calveley village.

Alpraham

Alpraham is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is on the A51 road, between Nantwich and Chester, and is about seven miles north-west of Nantwich. The 2001 Census gave the parish's population as 373. Alpraham hosts the annual Point to point (steeplechase) for the Cheshire Hunt, normally a Saturday towards the end of March.

Sandstone Trail

The Sandstone Trail is a 55-kilometre long-distance walkers' path, following sandstone ridges running north–south from Frodsham in central Cheshire to Whitchurch just over the Shropshire border. The path was created in 1974 and extended in the 1990s. Much of the route follows the Mid Cheshire Ridge but in places the trail also passes through the Cheshire Plain, including farmland, woodland and canal towpaths.
