Skinnand
Skinnand is a deserted medieval village in Lincolnshire. Originally a small farming community situated 9 miles south of Lincoln and 11.5 miles northwest of Sleaford, it once comprised a church and several houses. During the English Civil War of 1642-1646 the church fell into ruins. Today only fields and one deserted farmhouse remain of the community.

RAF Swinderby
Royal Air Force Swinderby or more simply RAF Swinderby was a Royal Air Force station airfield opened in 1940, one of the last of the stations completed under the RAF's expansion plans started in the 1930s. It was built near the village of Swinderby, Lincolnshire just off the south east side of the A46 between Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire and Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.

Somerton Castle
Somerton Castle is located approximately one mile west of the hamlet of Boothby Graffoe in Lincolnshire, England. Inherited from his mother, the castle was rebuilt in the latter part of the 13th century by Antony Bek, then Bishop of Durham, who was granted a licence to crenellate in 1281. In 1309 Bek gave the castle as a gift to King Edward II.
