Bason Bridge railway station

Bason Bridge railway station was a station on the Highbridge branch of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway. Opened by the Somerset Central Railway in 1856, the station consisted of a wooden platform and buildings. A level crossing, goods yard and dedicated siding for milk train to the Wiltshire United Co-operative Society's creamery, were operated from two lever frames, one at each end of the station.

ROF Bridgwater

Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Bridgwater was a factory between the villages of Puriton and Woolavington in the Sedgemoor district of Somerset, UK that produced high explosives for munitions. It was slightly above sea level, between the 5 and 10 metre contour lines on Ordnance Survey maps. BAE Systems closed it when decommissioning was completed in July 2008.

Oaktree Arena

The Oaktree Arena is a speedway racing track located near Highbridge, Somerset, England, and is built alongside the M5 motorway. The track, which was constructed by Glyn Taylor, is 300 metres in length, with banking around the edge for spectators.

Burnham Without

Burnham Without is a civil parish to the east of Burnham-on-Sea and north of Highbridge in the Sedgemoor district of Somerset, England. The parish includes the village of Edithmead and is the site of the Somerset Rebels Speedway track. The parish 2002 had a population of 796. It consists of drained low lying land between the coast and Brent Knoll Iron Age hill fort.
