No Man's Land, Cornwall

No Man's Land is a crossroads hamlet in south-east Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately two miles (3 km) northeast of Looe on the B3253 road to Widegates. Morval Vintage Steam Rally, an annual weekend event which raises funds for local charities, takes place at Bray Farm in No Man's Land

Liskeard and Looe Union Canal

The Liskeard and Looe Union Canal was a broad canal between Liskeard and Looe in Cornwall, United Kingdom. It was almost 6 miles (10 km) long and had 24 locks, and it opened progressively from 1827. The engineer was Robert Coad. Its primary purpose originally was the carriage of sea sand and lime to improve the acid soil of agricultural lands, but when mineral deposits on Caradon Hill were exploited, it benefited considerably, carrying the mineral down to Looe Harbour.

St Keyne

St Keyne is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The parish lies between the parishes of Liskeard and Duloe. In Victorian times the holywell in St Keyne had the reputation of conferring supremacy to the marriage partner who first tasted it. The church is dedicated to Saint Keyne said to be one of the daughters of legendary Welsh King Brychan. The village is served by a railway station known as St Keyne Wishing Well Halt.
