Mereworth Castle
Mereworth Castle is a grade I listed Palladian country house in Mereworth, Kent, England. Originally the site of a fortified manor licensed in 1332, the present building is not actually a castle, but was built in the 1720s as an almost exact copy of Palladio's Villa Rotunda. It was designed in 1723 by Colen Campbell who had been commissioned by John Fane, 7th Earl of Westmorland. The interior features plasterwork by Giovanni Bagutti and fresco painting by Francesco Sleter.

Royal Air Force Station West Malling or RAF West Malling was a Royal Air Force station located 1.6 miles south of West Malling, Kent, England and 5.2 miles west of Maidstone, Kent. Originally used as a landing area during the first World War, the site opened as a private landing ground and in 1930, then known as Kingshill, home to the Maidstone School of Flying, before being renamed West Malling Airfield, and, in 1932, Maidstone Airport.

Tonbridge and Malling
Tonbridge and Malling is an English local government district and borough in the English county of Kent. Tonbridge and Malling Borough covers an area from the North Downs at Burham and Snodland in the north to the town of Tonbridge in the south. The River Medway flows in a north easterly direction, through the borough towards the Medway Gap. The district was created under the Local Government Act 1972, on 1 April 1974.

Nettlestead Green
Nettlestead Green, like its near neighbour Nettlestead lies in the Medway valley SW of Maidstone in Kent. It has its own church, character village 17th century pub (The Hop Pole Inn) and a plant nursery (Wood Cottage Nursery). The Post Office recently closed. The railway station for Yalding is actually closer to Nettlestead Green than to its own village, which lies on the opposite side of the River Medway. It was here on 26 June 1944 that Warrant Officer R.A.

Yalding railway station
Yalding railway station is on the Medway Valley Line in Kent, England, and serves Yalding. Train services are provided by Southeastern. The station is 3+⁄2 miles east of Paddock Wood. The APTIS-equipped ticket office (on the southbound platform) closed in 1989; the building was then used for commercial purposes but has recently become disused. In 2007, a PERTIS (Permit to Travel) ticket machine was installed at the entrance to the southbound platform.
