East of England Agricultural Society

The East of England Agricultural Society in the United Kingdom is the organiser of the East of England Show held each year at the 250 acre (101 ha) East of England Showground, five miles (8 km) west of the city of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. The Society was formed by the merger of the Cambridgeshire and Isle of Ely (established 1863), Huntingdonshire (established 1837) and Peterborough (established 1797) agricultural societies in 1970.

Outwell Village railway station (Upwell Tramway)

Outwell Village railway station was a station in Outwell, Norfolk on the Wisbech and Upwell Tramway. It opened in 1883 and closed to passengers in 1927. Goods services ran on a while longer, before finishing in 1966. The line provided inspiration for Toby the Tram Engine. Former Services

Upwell railway station (Upwell Tramway)

Upwell railway station was a station in Upwell, Norfolk on the Wisbech and Upwell Tramway. It was opened in 1883 to carry passengers and agricultural wares to Wisbech where they would go to market, or be shipped off to other towns or cities. It remained open to passengers only till 1927, when competition from motorised buses forced this service to end. It carried on with the goods, carry produce from the surrounding farms.
