Prees railway station

Prees railway station serves the village of Prees in Shropshire, England, although the actual village is a mile to the east of the station. The station is 18 miles 36 chains from Crewe South Junction (approximately 14.0 mi north of Shrewsbury) on the Welsh Marches Line. The station has two platforms and trains only stop here upon request.

Wem Rural

Wem Rural is a civil parish in Shropshire, England that encircles the market town of Wem which is a separate parish ("Wem Urban"). The parish has three wards - Edstaston ward to the north and north east of Wem, Newtown ward to the north and north west of Wem and the confusingly named Wem ward to the west, south and east of Wem. The parish was formed in 1900 from the outer part of Wem, the inner part of which became the parish of Wem Urban in the Wem urban district.

Hawkstone Park

Hawkstone Park Follies is an historic landscape park with pleasure grounds and gardens formerly belonging to Hawkstone Hall, near to Market Drayton, in Shropshire, England, UK, one mile (1.6 km) east of the A49 road. Today the park consists of 100 acres of follies and landscaped parkland grounds and rocky outcrops, based around the authentic Norman castle of Red Castle.

Whitchurch Rural District (Shropshire)

Whitchurch was a rural district in Shropshire, England from 1894 to 1934. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 based on part of the Whitchurch rural sanitary district. It included the parishes of Ightfield and Whitchurch Rural. The district was abolished in 1934 under a County Review Order. Ightfield went to Drayon Rural District, with Whitchurch Rural being split between the Whitchurch urban district, Wem Rural District and Drayton RD.
