Camborne–Redruth Urban District
Camborne-Redruth was an urban district in Cornwall, United Kingdom, from 1934 to 1974. It was formed as a merger of Camborne and Redruth urban districts along with parts of Redruth Rural District and Helston Rural District (both of which were being abolished). The towns are about four miles apart and form a loose conurbation. The urban district persisted until it was merged into the Kerrier district of Cornwall under the Local Government Act 1972.

Dolcoath mine was a copper and tin mine in Camborne, Cornwall, in the United Kingdom. Its name derives from the Cornish for 'Old Ground', and it was also affectionately known as The Queen of Cornish Mines. The site is north-west of Carn Brea. Dolcoath Road runs between the A3047 road and Chapel Hill. The site is south of this road.

Collection of Cornish Studies Library, Cornwall Centre, Redruth]] Tehidy Country Park is located on the north coast of Cornwall about 2 miles north of Camborne, 2 miles west of Redruth, and about 1 mile south of the small harbour of Portreath. It was once part of an ancient manor owned by the Basset family which later gained much wealth from local tin mining. Covering 250 acres, the estate was purchased by Cornwall County Council in 1983. It is one of four Country Parks in Cornwall.
