Backwater Reservoir

National grid reference NO253591 Backwater Reservoir is a reservoir in north west Angus, Scotland. The project was initiated by the Dundee Corporation Waterworks in 1964 and absorbed into the newly created East of Scotland Water Board in 1968, before final completion and the official opening by Queen Elizabeth II on October 9, 1969. The reservoir's only purpose is to provide drinking water, and as such, it supplies Angus, Dundee, and parts of Perth and Kinross.

Bamff

Bamff House is the home of the Ramsays of Bamff, and is located within a 1,300-acre estate in Perthshire, Scotland. Bamff House began as a fortified tower in the late 16th Century and was added to and altered in almost every century since then. Bamff has been the home of several European beavers since 2002. The beaver became extinct in Scotland about four hundred and fifty years ago, but now some animals are kept enclosed in semi-natural conditions at Bamff.

Glen Shee

Glen Shee is a glen in eastern Perth and Kinross, Scotland through which flows the Shee Water. The Spittal of Glenshee where Glen Beag and Glen Lochy meet marks the head of the glen in the north and it then runs south-east to Bridge of Cally where it merges with Strathardle to form Glen Ericht.
