Davidson's Mains

Davidsons Mains is a former village which is now a district in the north west of Edinburgh, Scotland. It is adjacent to the districts of Barnton, Cramond, Silverknowes, Blackhall and Corbiehill/House O'Hill. Within the district there is a variety of shops and businesses, ranging from cobblers to large supermarkets, as well as food outlets of various kinds.

Silverknowes

Muirhouse

Muirhouse is a residential housing estate in the north of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is west of Granton, and East of Davidsons Mains. It is bounded to the south by Ferry Road and to the East by Pennywell Road. The name Muirhouse originally referred to a mansion built on Marine Drive in 1832 for the Davidson family, who were wealthy merchants trading in Rotterdam.
