Almondell and Calderwood Country Park

Almondell and Calderwood Country Park is a 220-acre Country Park in Mid Calder and East Calder in West Lothian, Scotland. The park is split into two main areas, Almondell Park which comprises the Almondell estate which originally belonged to the Erskine family of Broxburn and the Calderwood estate which once belonged to the Barons of Torphichen. The Almondell Estate follows the line of the River Almond, with well made paths and roads criss crossing the river over a variety of bridges.

Pumpherston

Pumpherston is a small dormitory village in West Lothian, Scotland. Originally a small industrial village to the nearby shale mine and works, it now adjoins the new town of Livingston, which was constructed alongside Pumpherston in the late 1960s and quickly grew much larger than its neighbours.

The Centre is the name of a shopping centre in Livingston, Scotland. It is made up of 3 zones, Almondvale Walk (the original shopping centre), Almondvale Place (the area opened in 1995) and Elements Square, including the Wintergarden and The Avenue (which was opened in 2008). The Centre is beside Livingston Designer Outlet (aka McArthur Glen Livingston).

Livingston (UK Parliament constituency)

Livingston is a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, to which it returns one Member of Parliament (MP). Elections are held using the first-past-the-post voting system. It was formed from parts of traditional Midlothian and West Lothian for the 1983 general election. A similar constituency, also called Livingston, is used by the Scottish Parliament. In 2005 a small part of the Linlithgow constituency was moved into Livingston.
