Strathallan School
Strathallan School is an independent boarding and day school in Scotland for boys and girls aged 9–18. The school has a 150-acre campus at Forgandenny, a few miles south of Perth. It is sometimes referred to as a public school, although strictly speaking this only applies to the English schools covered by the Public Schools Acts, and is the term traditionally used in Scotland for state schools.

Battle of Dupplin Moor
The Battle of Dupplin Moor was fought between supporters of the infant David II, the son of Robert the Bruce, and rebels supporting the Balliol claim in 1332. It was a significant battle of the Second War of Scottish Independence. The battlefield is currently under research to be inventoried and protected by Historic Scotland under the Historic Environment (Amendment) Act 2011.

Perth High School
Perth High School is a six-year, non-denominational comprehensive secondary school in Perth, Scotland. Established in 1950 at Gowans Terrace in a post-war prefabricated structure of a type which had not previously been used for any large school in Scotland, the school relocated to its present location in 1971, two years after the opening in 1969 of the adjacent Oakbank Primary School. It stands in extensive grounds occupying a position on a hill overlooking Oakbank Road and Viewlands Road West.
