Benmore Botanic Garden
Benmore Botanic Garden, formerly known as the Younger Botanic Garden, is a large botanic garden situated between Dunoon and Loch Eck, in Argyll, Scotland. It features a large square walled gardens, a waterfall, the remains of a fernery, ponds and walks up the hillside to where you can look out across the Holy Loch. A cafe can be found at the entrance as well as a shop. Benmore features many magnificent trees, some of which are over 150 years old.

St Munn's Parish Church
St Munn's Parish Church is a Category A listed building in Kilmun on the Cowal Peninsula, Scotland. This church occupies the summit of a slight knoll about ten metres from the shoreline of the Holy Loch. The existing building of 1841 is on the site of a medieval parish church, endowed as a collegiate church in 1442 by Sir Duncan Campbell of Lochawe, and a tower of that period stands to the west of the present building.

Ardentinny (Scottish Gaelic: Àird an t-Sionnaich or Àird an Teine) is a small village on the west shore of Loch Long, fourteen miles north of Dunoon in Argyll on the Cowal peninsula. Nearby is 'Cruach a Chaise' (Cheese Hill) while on the opposite side of Loch Long is the village of Coulport, home of RNAD Coulport, the storage and loading base for the UK's Trident Nuclear Defence Force.

Clachaig
Clachaig is a small settlement in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is located on the B836 road between the Holy Loch and Loch Striven. The hamlet is just over a mile long. The Hamlet consists of twenty-two houses and was built for accommodation for the workers of the powder mill. The mill manufactured gunpowder. The river at the bottom of the glen is the Little Eachaig. Clachaig is a Gaelic word meaning 'stone place'.
