Fetternear Palace

Fetternear Bishop's Palace is an archaeological site, part of which is incorporated into the now ruined towerhouse and mansion of Fetternear House, near Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, northeastern Scotland. It was one of the palaces (or residences) of the medieval bishops of Aberdeen.

Castle Fraser

Castle Fraser is the most elaborate Z-plan castle in Scotland and one of the grandest 'Castles of Mar'. It is located near Kemnay in the Aberdeenshire region of Scotland. The castle stands in over 300 acres of landscaped grounds, woodland and farmland which includes a walled kitchen garden of the 19th century. There is archaeological evidence of an older square tower dating from around 1400 or 1500 within the current construction.

Monymusk

Monymusk is a planned village in the Marr area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It began in 1170, was rebuilt in 1840 and in modern times serves as a site for fishing on the nearby River Don.

Aberdeenshire Canal

The Aberdeenshire Canal was a waterway in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, designed by John Rennie, which ran from the port of Aberdeen to Port Elphinstone, Inverurie. It opened in 1805, and closed in 1854, when it was replaced by a railway which ran along the course of the canal for most of its length.
